ADVISORY: “Why No JD?” – Lifelong Republicans to Join Thursday 10/27 Zoom Event Supporting Tim Ryan and Highlighting New Ohio Split-Ticket Campaign

CLEVELAND - On Thursday 10/27 at 1:00 PM EST, lifelong Republicans are set to join WelcomePAC for a Zoom-based event launching “Why No JD?” — a coordinated, cross-platform paid media campaign elevating the reasons why all public polls show more than 1 in 5 Republican gubernatorial voters in Ohio are rejecting JD Vance — and why many are choosing Tim Ryan instead. (All independent public polls released in October show more than 20% of Republican gubernatorial voters not voting for JD Vance – visit WhyNoJD.com for more information.)

The Why No JD campaign will include ads on radio, newspaper, and digital, mail, and on-the-ground events highlighting the data and stories that demonstrate just how many GOP voters are saying no to party-line votes — and JD Vance.

WHO: Chris Gibbs (Farmer and Former Shelby County Republican Party Chair), Phil Heimlich (Former Cincinnati City Councilmember and Hamilton County Commissioner who will be splitting his ticket for Tim Ryan), and Meegan Baxter (Businesswoman and registered Republican who campaigned for George H.W. Bush and other candidates).

WHAT: Launch of “Why No JD?” campaign

WHEN: Thursday, October 27th from 1:00 PM to 1:30PM EST
